The film looks at the life of an autistic boy named Afaan Khan. It tells his story from when he was born until adulthood. The story shows how the family has to struggle to care for him as well as explore what happened to wealthy businessman Rajiv Ratan Singh after he mysteriously disappears 15 years ago. The film premiered at the Busan International Film Festival in 2014, and was released on 27 March 2017. It opened to a largely positive reception from critics. She tries to make sure that her children are happy and healthy. When Afaan was growing up, Sehajra had to take care of him as well as her two daughters with no support from anyone. She is always there for Afaan when he is sick, even though she's the one who gets tired most of the time. A few years go by and now Afaan is 7 years old. His father has still not come home, so his uncle calls him to India with his son Jed (Sahil Salathia). When Jed comes to India with his father, he's very scared since he has never seen people like Afaan before. He asks his father to arrange a tutor for Afaan since he believes that his father will be a better teacher for him. After some time, AJ (Akash Khurana) comes to take care of Afaan. AJ is a responsible man who wants to help out the family who lost their only son, Rajiv Ratan Singh (Boman Irani). He promises AJ that he'll bring back some money from India and take care of the families' needs. AJ introduces himself as a businessman and contractor in Delhi while Rajiv is a millionaire in Pakistan.
